My current work is a dialogue between the digital and the analog, the personal and the material
My favorite pieces emerges when I’m learning and playing. Here are some of my recent experiments.
Craft and automation don’t exclude each other but the latter has in some ways reduced the prevalence of the former. I’m trying to honor both with this current iteration and continuation of my practice. You’ll see pieces completely designed and fabricated by hand as well as by semi-automated processes. Both are valuable and complement and inform the other. I use varying CAD/CAM software a little bit of math to design and generate the models and toolpaths for digital fabrication.
